Winslow Farm Community
Winslow Farm is known for its lovely
environment and many choose to live here because of its good reputation
overall. Keeping property values high is a goal of the community
association and requires ongoing care and maintenance of our common
areas and our individual homes .
Pride exists when homes are properly cared for and all
common areas are well-maintained. A major challenge for homeowners is
the green moss that grows rapidly on vinyl sided homes. This can be
remedied by using a power-washer (found at Southside Rentals only a
mile from Winslow Farm).
Touching up the exterior when the paint begins to chip
is also important for regular upkeep. Neighborhood covenants control
paint colors.
Keeping yards clean of debris, piles of leaves or cut
branches will also add to the curb appeal of Winslow Farm. Covenants
require dead trees to be removed promptly.
There is also a continual need to keep Winslow Farm free
of litter and the Board will do its utmost to work with neighborhood
Boards, the Landscape and Maintenance committee, and Bloomington High
School South to ensure that Winslow Farm remains litter-free. Please
help us by doing your part and taking care of the environment around
you.
